| FILE INFO | | Caption | In 1996 the reef Relief Photo Monitoring Survey achieved another discovery, a disease that would be called White Pox. It decimated the reefs in the Lower Keys and is associated with a stomach bacteria. Our survey program first documented and monitored the disease. We relayed this data to researchers and took teams of researchers to the site for years. We are proud of this achievement even though our contribution is only referred to as a tip. |
