This coral colony will also succumb to White Plague Type ll and coral bleaching. Of interest is the Common Sea Fan that is located on the left side of the colony early in the survey.

 | Yellow Band chronology YB2 SORT BY NAME TO VIEW CHRONOLOGICALLY Yellow Band subject YB2 is located less than 50 feet south of YB1. YB2 did not succumb to coral bleaching in 1997-98 or to Whiye Plague type ll.
|  | Yellow Band chronology YBRTE SORT BY NAME TO VIEW CHRONOLOGICALLY On this yellow band subject a router was used to create a barrier between the active yellow band tissue and healthy tissue to determine if the transmission of the disease could be halted. Half of the circular outbreak was routed YBRTE and the other half was left as a control.
